Irene Zevgolis specializes in logos, branding, book design, music cds . . . A professional designer, she communicates effectively and brings a work ethic of quality, excellence, creativity. Irene received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design, The Pennsylvania State University, under the art direction of internationally acclaimed Graphic Designer & Illustrator Lanny B. Sommese and William Kinser Typography & Computer Master. Irene is a Penn State Alumni Lifetime Member. Also, Irene attained a Computer Graphic Design Degree at Montgomery College, MD; where she holds an Associates Arts Degree in Studio Art.
Irene's career began in Washington, D.C. graphic design studios under the Art Direction of greats like Ice House Graphics, Harry Knox & Associates, Jaeger Design and Glass & Glass. Irene freelanced in Boston for studios including New Age Magazine & K. Sulier & Assoc. Returning to D.C., Irene was Packaging Designer at Giant Food, Inc., then Senior Designer, Design Network, Washington, D.C. Irene Z Design began in concert with freelancing and a full service design studio emerged. A classic & innovative approach, earned national awards from Print, Print’s Best Logos & Symbols, Graphic Design USA and The Ad Club of Metropolitan Washington. Irene studied Computer Graphic Design, Watercolor & Illustration at The Corcoran School of Art, Illustration at The Art Institute of Boston; Watercolor at Maryland University; Photographics at Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. Invited to join Montgomery College’s Communication Arts Faculty, Irene served as Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design; & prior, Adjunct Graphic Design Professor at Columbia Union College. Media Assistant for Montgomery County Public Schools, MD & substitute teacher in Digital & Studio Art.
