Technical expertise is in Macintosh OSX® using Adobe® InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & QuarkXPress.®

Irene Z began her design career working for graphic design studios & corporations in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, with distinguished art directors, mentors & colleagues. Since launching Irene Z Design in 1990, Irene has created hundreds of graphic design projects for national clients & book publishers. Irene’s classic & innovative approach to graphic design has earned her national design awards from Print’s Best Logos & Symbols, Print Magazine, Graphic Design USA & The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.

Irene Z holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from The Pennsylvania State University, an Associate Arts Degree in Studio Art & a Graphic Design with Computer Certificate from Montgomery College. Intensive computer graphic design & illustration coursework was additionally attained from The Corcoran College of Art & Design, The Art Institute of Boston & Maryland Institute College of Art.

As a member of the Art Director’s Club of Metropolitan Washington, she served on several Annual Show Committees and as career day advisor. Irene is also adjunct Professor of Graphic Design and Macintosh® Computers.
